Based on the concept of a pavilion, the design works to create an elegant copper-clad form that is punctuated by a lap pool that enters the building. With the landscape design by Myles Baldwin, the pavilion acts as a separate wing to the client’s house on the adjoining site which can later be detached as a standalone dwelling. Off-form concrete complements the patina of the copper and to create a unique presence within the street.
