Concept
We saw an opportunity to advocate for a streetscape revitalisation strategy that ties together a number of cultural landmarks in a way that is no currently recognised.
In collaboration with Longmore Landscape Architects and Trafficworks, we are developing a solution to create a ‘cultural bridge’ to recognise and enhance the public realm by reclaiming the street and delivering more green space within the City of Yarra.
Key outcomes:
Increased tree planting
Integrated seating and Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) treatments
Raised paving and street art to slow traffic
Maintain local access for residents
We hope this can be realised as a pilot project within the municipality.
