Concept

PGCC is an established community hub based in Melbourne’s south east. When approaching the design of PGCC we sought not only to create a contemporary built form expression that fits into an Australian context, but one that reflected the industrial nature of its surroundings.

The design intends to create a layering of patterns and relief work in the concrete to add a richness to the overall design and to tell a story of the indigenous history of the area - with the City of Casey home to one of the largest Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in metropolitan Melbourne.
